The Hungarian Wine Association is partnering with Nimbility to launch a Hungarian wine promotion campaign in the Korean market starting from September 2024.
Utilizing events such as the Daejeon International Wine Expo, the campaign will feature masterclasses and tasting sessions to showcase the allure of Hungarian wines like Furmint and Kékfrankos.
The campaign aims to educate Korean consumers about the diversity and quality of Hungarian wines, introducing a wide range of wines, from dry wines cultivated in volcanic soil to Tokaji wines.
The Hungarian Wine Association is launching a full-fledged promotional campaign in Korea to raise awareness of the history and diversity of Hungarian wines in collaboration with Nimbility, a brand building agency. This campaign will run for seven months from September 2024 to March 2025, with the goal of enhancing the recognition and reputation of Hungarian wines in the Korean market.

This campaign includes educational events and digital media campaigns, and plans to promote the uniqueness and excellence of Hungarian wines through communication with Korean wine enthusiasts and related parties. In particular, various events will be held in Seoul and Daejeon, focusing on the ‘Daejeon International Wine Expo,’ where Hungary has been selected as the guest country.

Key events include masterclasses in Seoul, pop-up tasting sessions and dinners with winemakers, and consumer tasting events. Media and influencer campaigns will also be actively conducted to promote the tradition and modern innovation of Hungarian wines.
